How to Play
Goal
Place as many jewel shapes as you can and build up a high score. There are no levels in the version we tested; each game is one run that lasts until you can no longer place your pieces.
Controls
Three shapes wait below the board. Drag one onto the 9×9 grid and release it where it fits. As you drag, a shadow on the board shows where the shape will land. After you place a shape, the remaining ones move over, and a new set of three appears once all of them are used. There is no rotate control, so each shape keeps its orientation.
Clearing and scoring
Every block you place adds points. Fill all nine cells of a row and it clears for a larger bonus, opening space for new shapes. The score is shown at the top, with your best score next to the crown icon.
Pause menu
The pause button in the top-left corner opens a menu with sound and music switches, a Home button and a Restart button. On your first game, an animated hand shows how to drag a shape onto the board.
Tips
- Plan for all three shapes. New shapes only arrive after the current three are placed, so check that every one of them will still have room.
- Keep the center open. Large shapes need wide empty areas. Build along the edges first.
- Use the landing shadow. Line the shadow up exactly with the gap you want to fill before you release. It prevents shapes from landing one cell off.
- Finish nearly full rows. A row with only one or two empty cells is worth completing right away. Clearing gives a bigger score than placement alone and frees space.
- Avoid isolated single holes. A one-cell gap surrounded by blocks can only take the smallest shape and can block a row for a long time.
