What the Block Blast Solver Does

Looking for a Block Blast AI solver or helper? This tool recognizes the 8x8 board and the 3 blocks waiting at the bottom of your app screenshot, tries placements for those blocks and shows solutions that clear the most lines.

The solver only works with screenshots from the official Block Blast app on your phone. Screenshots of the web version on this site are not supported and will not be recognized correctly.

How to Take a Screenshot

  1. Open the Block Blast app and start or continue a game.
  2. Take a screenshot of the whole screen in portrait mode.
  3. Make sure both the board and the 3 blocks at the bottom are visible.

Don't crop the image or add filters. A plain, full-screen phone screenshot works best.

How to Upload

  • Drag the screenshot onto the upload area, or
  • click Select File and choose the image, or
  • click Try it with a sample screenshot to see how the solver works first.

How to Read the Results

  • Game State shows the board and blocks the solver recognized. Compare it with your screenshot to make sure nothing was misread.
  • Solutions lists possible ways to place your blocks, with the ones that clear the most lines first.
  • Lines Cleared is the total number of rows and columns cleared by that solution, and Max Combo is the most lines cleared by a single move.
  • Each Step shows where to place one block. The new block has a dashed yellow outline, and rows or columns that will be cleared are highlighted in red. A Combo! badge means that move clears more than one line at once.

If Recognition Fails

  • Check that the image is a screenshot from the official Block Blast app, not from this site's web version.
  • Use the full, uncropped screenshot without filters or edits.
  • Use a phone screenshot taken in portrait mode.
  • If the Game State looks different from your screen, take a new screenshot and try again.

FAQ

Is the Block Blast Solver free?

Yes. The solver is free to use and doesn't require an account.

Is my screenshot uploaded to a server?

No. Your screenshot is read and analyzed in your browser, and the image is not sent to our server.

Why doesn't the solver find a solution?

Either there is no room left on the board for your blocks, or the screenshot was not recognized correctly. Check the Game State section: if the board or blocks look different from your screen, try a new full screenshot.

Can I use a tablet screenshot?

We recommend using a screenshot taken on a phone.
