Play TenTrix free online in your browser. It is a drag-and-drop block puzzle on a 10×10 grid: nothing falls from the top, you choose where every piece goes and clear space by completing lines.
How to Play
Goal
Keep placing pieces on the grid for as long as you can and push your score as high as possible. There are no levels to beat; each game is one continuous run.
Controls
Three pieces sit below the grid. Drag a piece up onto the grid and release it where it fits. Pieces cannot overlap blocks that are already on the board. When all three pieces have been placed, a new set of three appears. There is no rotate control, so each piece keeps the shape it is given.
Clearing lines
Fill every cell of a row or a column and that line is cleared, freeing up space for new pieces.
Score and end of the game
The number on the left at the top is your current score; the other number is your best score, also shown as "Highscore" on the main menu. Placing a piece adds points, and clearing a line adds more. Use the pause button in the top-right corner to open a menu with New Game, Continue and Menu. A game can only continue while at least one of your pieces still fits on the grid.
Tips
- Keep large empty areas. Straight five-block pieces and 3×3 squares turn up regularly. Leave room for them instead of scattering small pieces across the grid.
- Build toward edges and corners. Stacking pieces along the sides keeps the middle open and makes full rows and columns easier to finish.
- Look at all three pieces before you move. The next set only arrives after all three are placed, so plan an order that fits every one of them.
- Finish lines that are almost full. A row or column with one or two gaps is worth filling right away. Clearing it scores points and reopens space.
- Avoid single-cell holes. A lone gap surrounded by blocks can only be filled by the smallest pieces and often stays empty for a long time.
FAQ
Is TenTrix a falling-block game?
No. In our test play, TenTrix loaded as a 10×10 grid puzzle where you drag pieces into place. Pieces do not fall on their own.
Can I rotate pieces?
No rotate control appeared during our test play. Each piece has to be placed in the orientation shown.
Can I pause and start over?
Yes. The pause button opens a menu where you can continue, start a new game or return to the main menu.
