Play Orchard Drop, a free fruit merge game online with round fruits that roll, stack and combine. Aim a drop so two matching fruits touch: they become the next fruit in the sequence, making room for another move. The goal is to grow a watermelon and keep building your score. Play on a computer or phone, with no download, account or round timer.
How to play
- Drag across the board and release to drop a fruit. With the board focused, use the left and right arrow keys to aim and Space to drop.
- Two fruits of the same kind merge into the next kind, which has one fixed, larger size. Each merge earns fixed points for that kind; successive merges do not multiply the score. Two watermelons clear for 66 points, freeing space to continue.
- Keep the stack below the dotted line. A new drop has time to fall; the round ends when older, slowly moving fruit stays above the line for two seconds.
Fruit merge order: cherry to watermelon
There are 11 fruit stages, shown below. New drops come from the first five stages; the larger fruits must be made by merging. Two watermelons disappear when they meet, giving you a bonus and space to keep playing. Making your first watermelon does not end the round.
- 1. Cherry
- 2. Strawberry
- 3. Grape
- 4. Dekopon
- 5. Persimmon
- 6. Apple
- 7. Pear
- 8. Peach
- 9. Pineapple
- 10. Melon
- 11. Watermelon
How merge points work
Each matching pair earns fixed points based on its fruit kind. Larger pairs are worth more, and two watermelons clear for 66 points. Successive merges can free space and earn more points, but there is no chain multiplier or timing bonus. Take your time to aim: a pair is worth the same whether it merges immediately or later.
A few tips for a bigger orchard
- Leave space beside larger fruits. Small fruits wedged between them can prevent a useful merge.
- Check the next fruit before dropping. Place your current fruit where the next one can help.
- Let a rolling fruit settle before choosing a tight landing spot. A chain reaction can free up room.
Fruit merge game FAQ
How do you win a fruit merge game?
Aim to combine small fruits into a watermelon while keeping the stack below the danger line. Orchard Drop has no fixed victory screen: making a watermelon is a milestone, and you can keep scoring. Match two watermelons to clear them and make room for another chain.
Is Orchard Drop free to play?
Yes. Play directly in your browser on desktop or mobile, with no download or account required.
How do I drop a fruit?
Drag on the board to aim, then release. You can also use the left and right arrow keys and Space while the board is focused.
When does the game end?
The round ends when older, slowly moving fruit remains above the dotted danger line for two seconds. A newly dropped fruit has a short grace period to fall, so passing through the line during a drop does not immediately end the game.
Is my best score saved?
Your best score is saved in this browser when local storage is available. Clearing site data or using another browser can remove or change that record.
Is this the official Suika Game?
No. Orchard Drop is our original fruit merge game with its own art and interface. It is not affiliated with the creators of Suika Game.
