How to Play Block Blast Unblocked

  1. To play Block Blast Unblocked, drag a waiting block onto the 8×8 board with your mouse or finger. Use its exact direction; blocks do not rotate.
  2. Check the landing preview, then release. A full row or column clears; a move can clear both together.
  3. Plan all remaining blocks before filling small gaps. Clearing a line can make room for a block that did not fit before.

Block Blast Unblocked starts here without a download, plugin or login. Use the Full Screen control below the game for more room, the sound button on the board to mute or unmute, and Play Again to start a new run. Restarting replaces that mode’s current run.

Choose Your Web Game Mode

The options in Block Blast Unblocked are independently designed modes of blockblast.co’s browser game, not Hungry Studio app modes. All use our web-game scoring formula, fixed shape directions and simultaneous row/column clears.

  • Classic: this site’s existing game, with 37 shapes. The first clear starts combo 1; two non-clearing placements can keep the chain, while the third consecutive non-clear resets it.
  • Diagonal challenge: Block Blast Unblocked adds four shapes to the classic pool: two-cell and three-cell diagonals in both directions. Only their occupied cells must fit. There is no rotation, and a diagonal is not promised in every tray.
  • Combo protection: this Block Blast Unblocked mode keeps the classic shape pool, with an extra rule after an all-clear. The next three valid placements protect the combo: protected non-clears do not advance its reset counter. A clearing placement increases the combo normally and ends the old protection; another all-clear renews three protected placements. The all-clear move itself does not consume one. After protection expires, the usual three consecutive non-clears reset the combo. Invalid drops do not consume protection, and a revive resets it. If no further clear occurs, the sixth valid placement after the all-clear resets the combo: three protected placements, then three ordinary non-clears.

Choose one mode at a time in Block Blast Unblocked. Switching restores the selected mode’s locally saved run; its best score and progress are separate from the other modes. Classic uses your existing save and best score from this site’s main game.

Is Block Blast Unblocked at School?

The name Block Blast Unblocked describes this direct browser-play entry. It does not bypass network restrictions. A school, workplace or device administrator can still block blockblast.co, and this page cannot guarantee access on every network. No extra software is needed to play when this site is accessible; use it where your device and network permit games.

Is Block Blast Unblocked the Original App?

No. Block Blast Unblocked is an independently made puzzle inspired by Block Blast. It has its own scores, revives and modes. Your Hungry Studio app progress does not transfer here. Does This Page Save My Game?

Your Block Blast Unblocked best scores and games in progress are saved locally in this browser, separately for each mode. A reload can restore a valid saved run. Another browser or device has separate data, and deleting site data removes these saves. Private browsing, restricted storage or browser cleanup can prevent a run from being retained. There is no account or cloud sync.

What If the Game Will Not Load or a Block Will Not Move?

For Block Blast Unblocked to load, use an up-to-date browser with JavaScript enabled. If the page only shows a loading message, reload once and check whether your browser or network allows this site’s scripts. Other site services may load separately; this is not a promise of ad-free service or unrestricted network access.

When a block in Block Blast Unblocked returns to the tray, its full occupied shape did not fit at that position. Try another location, or place another remaining block first to clear space. Use full screen if the board is too small. When none of the remaining blocks fits, this game offers one revive per run; after it is used, the next no-fit state ends the run.

Can the Solver Help With These Modes?

For a Block Blast Unblocked position, you can enter the current board and 1–3 remaining shapes manually in the solver, including diagonal shapes. It searches fixed-direction placements and line clears. It does not calculate these modes’ scores or combo protection, predict the next tray, or operate your live game. This web game’s screenshots have not been validated for automatic recognition; use manual entry.
